New Chairman Announced.

Michael Jackson, former chairman of Sage plc, and Elderstreet Investments Ltd, a technology-focused UK venture capital firm that he also chairs, today announced their intention to acquire a significant stake in Access Intelligence plc, the AIM-listed software group.

Jackson and Elderstreet, who are participating in the transaction on an equal basis, are seeking shareholder approval to acquire a 29.5% stake in the company, which is 46 million shares at 2.75p.

Subject to an Extraordinary General Meeting on October 20th, Michael Jackson will become Executive Chairman of Access Intelligence.
