Lancashire Purchasing Agency selects Willow Starcom to provide flexible IT Support for Primary Schools

Willow Starcom has teamed up with the Lancashire Purchasing Agency (LPA) to launch a flexible new scheme that provides IT Support to primary schools on a ‘Pay as you Go’ basis.  

The project provides primary schools with an affordable Support Credits system that issues vouchers to be redeemed against IT Helpdesk and Call-out services, as and when required.  

Karen Townsend, Group Business Development Manager at LPA said, ’We conducted extensive research into the ICT requirements of primary schools. ‘Willow Starcom fitted the profile perfectly and have the resources, skill and infrastructure to be able to deliver the flexible, responsive service needed by our schools.’  

Initially the scheme will be offered to primary schools in Lancashire but will be gradually extended nationwide. Willow Starcom Managing Director Mark Berry said, ‘We are delighted to have been selected by LPA to provide this service for schools in the area. We’ve supported schools in the past and understand their ICT environment. This scheme has been tailored specifically to provide schools with the level of service they need, when they need it, but more importantly at an affordable price.’
