New Bournemouth Base for Willow

Specialist IT solutions provider and consultants, Willow Starcom, have announced the launch of a regional base in Ferndown, Bournemouth. The launch comes hot on the heels of the recent opening of the Midlands Office in June 2003. Contrary to the recent economic climate, the company, based in the NorthWest of England have seen a period of steady growth and have expanded to accommodate increased demand from both new and existing business.
Managing Director, Mark Berry, said, ‘Its exciting times at Willow Starcom. 2003 has been a great year for us in terms of growth and expansion. Many companies in Bournemouth will know us as we’ve had a presence in the region for over 12 years, via our existing network of Consultants and Engineers. In fact our origins are based in the town so the new office is a welcome return to our roots.’
The new office in Ferndown will provide the region with a host of IT solutions including Network Infrastructure, Data Security Solutions, Email/Internet Communications and Maintenance & Support. Of a more specialist nature, the company has a division dedicated to providing Data Storage and Backup Solutions.
The office will be situated on the developing Bournemouth Enterprise Centre in Ferndown, ideally placed off the A31 in Ferndown, within easy reach of the M27.
The company have recently employed local Sales Executive, Matthew Furby to join the existing team. Matthew from Bournemouth, joined the sales operation in early September to apply his knowledge of the local marketplace to the portfolio of services. Matt said, ‘ Willow Starcom provide a good mix of services and the specialist Data Storage division will enjoy great success from the local demand for this expertise. The new office will further cement existing customer relationships but will also provide a sound platform from which to develop new business.’
