FalconStor was founded in 2000 in New York by a team of experts with years of experience in storage networking and a track record of success. The company’s engineering and management teams are seasoned veterans of enterprise storage and networking software. They originally joined forces at Cheyenne Software, where ReiJane Huai, now FalconStor CEO, was chief architect of the award-winning ARCserve1 solution, the industry’s first client/server storage management solution and the industry standard in backup and restore technology. Cheyenne Software was later acquired by Computer Associates International.
