Willow Starcom was established in 1990 as a provider of specialist IT services delivering data management and security solutions, hardware and software support and a range of managed services. The solutions are delivered directly to high end SME end users, who see the Willow Starcom as their trusted partner or via an established Channel Partner program. 

The Management Team

Michael Jackson, Chairman

Michael was appointed the Executive Chairman of Access Intelligence in October 2008 and became Chairman of Willow Starcom in 2009. Michael is former Chairman of The Sage Group PLC where he was a board director for 23 years and saw the company rise from a market cap of less than £5m to its current valuation of over £3bn. Michael is also a director and investor in many other quoted and unquoted companies and brings a wealth of experience to the Willow Starcom Board

Mark Berry, Managing Director

Mark has over 25 years’ experience in the IT Support and Services Sector and co-founded Willow Starcom in September 1990 as a subsidiary of The Willow Group. As Operations Director for the Willow Group he worked extensively with software development teams in North America and Japan before concentrating on the Willow Starcom business. He was instrumental in the sale of Willow Starcom to Access Intelligence PLC in 2005. Mark is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of The Institution of Electronic Engineers (C.Eng MIEE)

Darren Harrison, Technical Director

Darren joined Willow Starcom in April 1995 and is responsible for all the technical aspects of the business.  Darren plays a key role in the development of all our Services and Solutions and has recently been responsible for designing and architecting our Hosted solution portfolio and the Starcom Cloud platform.
